Aobasanroku-koen Park (青葉山ろく公園)
Located in Maizuru City, Kyoto Prefecture, Aobasanroku-koen is a park at the foot of Mt. Aoba.
During holidays and weekends this park is full of families having picnics, taking advantage of the extensive facilities which include camping, field athletics, an eighteen-hole miniature golf course, and outdoor experience classes, at the foot of Mt. Aoba, which is nicknamed 'Wakasa Fuji' (literally 'Wakasa Mt. Fuji' as its shape is similar to Mt. Fuji) and is blessed with rich natural environment. There is also a separate pottery house. Admission fee: free of charge for camping and parking.
Miniature golf costs 400 yen for adults, and the pottery house 200 yen for adults (plus fees for using subsidiary facilities and for clay material); it is half price for children at both facilities

Closed: the day after national holidays and also during the New Year period.
Green Sports Center: November to March; Miniature Golf: December - March; Pottery House: every Monday (or Tuesday if the holiday falls on a Monday)
Access
From Maizuru-Higashi Interchange on the Maizuru-Wakasa Expressway, take National Route 27, and turn to the left at Shikahara Intersection; it is just beyond Maizuru National College of Technology.
From Higashi Maizuru Station on the JR Maizuru Line, take Kyoto Kotsu Bus Aseku Junkan Route, get off at 'Maizurukosenmae' bus stop, and the park is approximately five minutes on foot.
